Important information for employers and workers in the NSW retail and entertainment industries
From 21 December 2018 responsibility for administering the provisions of the Retail Trading Act 2008 and Entertainment Industry Act 2013 (including compliance functions) transferred to Fair Trading NSW.
The requirement to work on any restricted trading day such as Boxing Day is covered by this legislation.
