Full-time work

If you work full-time, you will generally work 38 hours per week and receive wages and other employment conditions identified in your award or agreement.

Full-time workers must receive annual leave and long service leave.

Under NSW State awards, you may be paid allowances for doing certain tasks, overtime pay for working outside your regular hours or penalty rates for working nights, weekends or public holidays.

For more information go to your award or agreement.

Use OIR's NSW Awards Online for free access to a listing of the NSW State Awards so you can check the pay and entitlements you should receive.

If you are employed under the federal industrial relations system go to the Workplace Authority for information about your correct rate of pay.
