To better understand the needs of participants in the workplace, we invite your response to this issues paper. What do you think could be done to overcome these obstacles? 2. Do you agree State and territory governments should have a role to play in their jurisdiction under a national scheme governing workplace relations for employees and employers? If so, what should be the extent of their role? 3. Do you agree the federal government should have a role to play in governing workplace relations? If so, what should be the extent of its role? 4. What is your view of the five principles put forward to underpin a cooperative model for workplace relations? 5. Are there other principles you would like to see included?
