Community Online Resource

Assisting people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities

At NSW Industrial Relations we recognise the vital role that Migrant Resource Centres and Diversity Centres play in providing the state’s migrants and refugees with the information, support and assistance they need.

We also know that many people in NSW are still either unaware of, or confused about, their rights and responsibilities at work, including the recently introduced national workplace relations system.

The aim of this online resource is to keep you up-to-date with important workplace information so you can better help your clients to understand their rights and entitlements at work and, importantly, guide them on where to go for help if they have an enquiry about a workplace issue or problem. It contains information in 26 community languages.

NSW IR is committed to keeping the information provided current, making this resource your organisation’s best way of finding out about the latest industrial relations news.

We hope your organisation will use the resources provided here to help your vulnerable worker and job seeker clients understand and protect their rights at work.

If you have any questions or suggestions regarding this resource, please contact NSW IR at oirfeedback@services.nsw.gov.au
