The Office of Industrial Relations (OIR) is responsible for monitoring wages, employment rights, obligations and conditions in NSW.

OIR provides help and information to both workers and employers and can help you to find information about pay rates and other conditions of employment that operate in the state.

Many employers and workers in NSW are now covered by federal industrial relations laws. These people will need to seek information about their rates of pay and conditions of employment from the appropriate federal agency.

However, please note that information on this website about long service leave, public holidays, child employment and other NSW legislation may still be relevant to these employers and workers.
